Thank you so much for allowing us to provide a classroom for Argei!
Argei is eleven years old and lives with his parents, three sisters and brother in the community of Pitogo, which is not far from Tacloban. Argei dreams of becoming an officer in the army when he’s older.
But Argei’s classroom was badly damaged by typhoon Haiyan and his education has been suffering ever since.
Without an education, Argei’s future looked bleak. Without basic literacy and numeracy, his dreams would have been forgotten and he would almost certainly have been doomed to a life of poverty.
But Argei is lucky - he has you in his life.
Your fantastic generosity means that we’ll be able to repair and refurbish Argei’s classroom and give him back the education he needs to fulfil his dreams.
We’ll be able to support Argei because you chose to give. There are so many things you could have spent your hard earned money on, but you chose Argei. Thanks so much.
We’ll send you updates about how your gift is changing Argei’s life right here on GlobalGiving. Should you have any questions about how we’re using your donation, please don’t hesitate to email Andy@IDVolunteers.org. We’d love to hear from you!
Our warmest regards from Tacloban.
