What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

In rural areas of Peru most of the people have low self-esteem, they have no confidence in themselves to start a business, project or any own entrepreneurship. This is because the formal educational system don't encourage children to give their opinions, their interests are not taken into account, many times their productions are not respected and their creations are not valued . This project will work in the development of 50 children's self-esteem.

How will this project solve this problem?

Yachay Wasi will offer a photography workshop to 50 disadvantaged children from a rural area in Peru. They will have access to the technology, to the modern world at the time that they are expressing themselves freely, displaying their creations, showing their point of view, their interests, feeling valued, understanding and respecting others.
