Richardson Jean lost everything in the earthquake, and since then he's been living in a tent. But despite the challenges he's faced, Richardson continued to strive for a brighter tomorrow through education. He joined the English in Mind Institute (EIM) to help build a brighter future for himself. After being a student in 2010, he became a trainee teacher in 2011, and this year we've hired him to teach his own class.
Thanks to EIM, Richardson has a job and he's saving up to find his own home. However, his salary relies on the generosity of donors like you. For Richardson, his job teaching English is about much more than just making money. His work helping others helps him stay hopeful about the future despite the challenges he faces.
