Nutritious food in 2014 for Florentina!

A microproject by International Disaster Volunteers (IDV)
Nutritious food in 2014 for Florentina!

Summary

This project will provide a year of nutritious food for four year old Florentina. Florentina is five. She was brought to the orphanage by an aunt after her parents abandoned her. She's one of the most exuberant, out-going kids at the orphanage, but she struggles with a skin condition which leaves her vulnerable to infections. Nutritious food is key to keeping her strong and healthy.

Challenge

As an orphan, Nathaelle is among the most vulnerable of Haitian children. There isn't a nationwide child protection service operating in Haiti to provide for her basic needs. That means that, without your help, Nathaelle may have to go without nutritious meals, leaving her more vulnerable to illness and less healthy.

Solution

By donating today, you'll help us provide the food these Florentina needs to stay healthy.

Long-Term Impact

A healthy, balanced diet prevents illness and promotes healthy growth. By providing the nutritious food Florentina needs, you're preventing illness and helping her grow up strong!
