Nutritious Food for Nolson in 2014

A microproject by International Disaster Volunteers (IDV)
Nutritious Food for Nolson in 2014

Summary

This project will provide a year of nutritious food for Nolson. Nolson is seven. After the earthquake his father got sick and died, leaving his mother with no way to care for him or his two brothers. Nolson is very cuddly and smiles a lot. He likes to play soccer, is good in school, and loves to draw. But without nutritious meals to keep him growing, Nolson's future will be bleak.

Challenge

As an orphan, Nolson is among the most vulnerable of Haitian children. There isn't a nationwide child protection service operating in Haiti to provide for his basic needs. That means that, without your help, Nolson may have to go without nutritious meals, leaving him more vulnerable to illness and less healthy.

Solution

By donating today, you'll help us provide the food Nolson needs to stay healthy.

Long-Term Impact

A healthy, balanced diet prevents illness and promotes healthy growth. By providing the nutritious food Nolson needs, you're preventing illness and helping him grow up strong!
