Nutritious Food for Bodlyson and Kenson in 2014

A microproject by International Disaster Volunteers (IDV)
Nutritious Food for Bodlyson and Kenson in 2014

Summary

This project will provide a year of nutritious food for Bodlyson and Kenson. Bodlyson and Kenson were abandoned by their parents after the 2010 earthquake. Both were taken in by the Hands Together to Defend the Children orphanage, and now they do everything together - they're the best of friends. With your help, they'll spend the next year eating three nutritious meals a day together so that they can stay healthy and grow up strong!

Challenge

As orphans the boys are among the most vulnerable of Haitian children. There isn't a nationwide child protection service operating in Haiti to provide for their basic needs. That means that, without your help, Bodlyson and Keson may have to go without nutritious meals, leaving him more vulnerable to illness and less healthy.

Solution

By donating today, you'll help us provide the food Bodlyson and Kenson need to stay healthy.

Long-Term Impact

A healthy, balanced diet prevents illness and promotes healthy growth. By providing the nutritious food Bodlyson and Kenson need, you're preventing illness and helping them grow up strong!
