Summary

This is Tuan, our talented music teacher from Cam Duc, Vietnam. Tuan has been teaching violin to our first 12 students for over a year. He comes from a rural area of Vietnam and has always dreamed of having the opportunity to become a music teacher. Last year we bought him his first violin. Tuan would benefit greatly with professional music lessons to help him become a better teacher. Please help Tuan and our other teachers attend professional music classes.

Challenge

Approximately 75% of all Vietnamese youth live in poverty. Although many kids go to school, in-school music programs don't exist and are only available to the elite. Students cannot afford musical instruments or instruction. This project will support our two young music teachers by providing them with professional instruction that will in turn benefit all of our students.

Solution

Our goal is to assist underprivileged youth through professional instruction to gain the knowledge and techniques they will need to become outstanding music teachers. Your assistance will support our music schools in both Cam Ranh and Hue Vietnam.

Long-Term Impact

This project will help Vietnamese youth develop a positive self-image, leadership skills, and a sense of community. We hope that these youth will be able to excel in school, their work, and as citizens through this opportunity.
