Mobile libraries get learning moving in Malawi

A microproject by CARE
Mobile libraries get learning moving in Malawi

Summary

In Malawi, most non-boarding secondary schools lack required resources for girls including dictionaries to help them be successful. But help is only a vehicle away! Mobile libraries are stocked with critical learning and reference materials to help these girls achieve an education. With your help, a mobile library can regularly visit two secondary schools in the Kasungu region of Malawi.

Challenge

With more students attending school but fewer funds for each school, administrators need to make hard decisions. There are not enough books to go around to each student and materials are not readily available. But having access to a mobile library means that two non-boarding secondary schools in Kasungu will be able to better educate their students to achieve greater success.

Solution

Mobile libraries will improve access and availability of learning materials.

Long-Term Impact
