Andrew Chaggar - Executive Director
Andy started his journey toward disaster recovery six years ago when he was in the 2004 Asian tsunami. He was severely injured and his partner was killed. As soon as he was able, Andy returned to Thailand to volunteer in the recovery process. He stayed in Thailand for 13 months, eventually leading the construction of 67 permanent houses. He has since devoted his life to disaster recovery
Emma Taylor - Media and Marketing Drector
Emma is also a co-founder of European Disaster Volunteers. She has eight months experience as a volunteer leader in Pisoc, Peru, following a devastating earthquake. Emma also holds a Bachelors of Arts in writing and now puts her communication skills to work for EDV.
