Dear Friends of TakingITGlobal,
Thanks to your generosity over the last four months, Manthan will be joining TIGed’s “Education for Environmental Stewardship” e-course on a full scholarship! Our team cannot thank you enough.
Manthan is a very bright, young educator who has worked with over 180 youth as a volunteer at the Community Development Centre in Balghat, India. Manthan said that he’s found little awareness of environmental issues in rural villages, including Balghat, and that is why it is important for him to learn about them. We can tell that he is very passionate and motivated in the work that he does:
"I want to do something effective after learning from [the e-course]... I think most important is [that] we need to intervene to bring change for a sustainable world."
Our team is excited to see how he will pass on the lessons from the e-course to evoke environmental awareness among the youth!
We hope you will extend your generosity to continue supporting wonderful educators in emerging countries. $25 would cover the participation cost of an educator like Manthan in one online session of a five-week long e-course. Please visit our Global Education Professional Development page to learn more.
Thank you so much for the important part you have played in advancing global and environmental education worldwide!
