UNESCO has stated that by 2025, about 95 Million students will not have place in the existing universities. And for those students who do have a spot, many of them are unable to access higher education due to financial constraints. University of the People has created an innovative, online, tuition-free model to ensure that no qualified individual is denied access to higher education for financial reasons.
This project aims to raise funds to help support UoPeople's efforts and mission to democratize higher education.
University of the People continues to provide access to higher education for students around the world, working hard to promote lower education costs and helping to democratize higher education worldwide. To date, over 1700 students from 143 countries have been accepted.
University of the People is continually expanding our worldwide partnerships in order to open the gates of higher education to as many students worldwide as possible. Corporate partners, organizations, and generous individuals make our mission to democratize education a reality.
