In poor rural communities in Ivory Coast , there are very old women who make handcrafted dishes very appreciated but unknown. Through this project , these dishes will be disseminated , and create the jobs for women and youth in rural and urban areas
Old wives have the secret of making food for years. These dishes are often known in their locality. They die with the secret and these dishes disappear. Young student volunteers of the NGO DNA in Ivory Coast have identified two dishes to promote. They allow this to be known puts one hand, but will create jobs for themselves, and for women who work with the fabriquante old . Dishes are locally manufactured and sold in Abidjan. other youth will provide the raw material .
By establishing a strong organization , youth and created the jobs. they occupy the entire chain (production, transportation , sales, accounting, human resources). They also give the opportunity to 11 illiterate women to have work in rural areas. for production , raw materials will be provided by young people, and that will be the indirect jobs. we can point to the creation of 26 direct jobs and 30 indirect jobs
If young people start with a first put in the long term , it will identify a delicacy by region in Ivory Coast and make this project a national food distribution company .
