Mountains of Hope is engaging children in planing processes at village level, however our project has partly been able to achieve this micro project, the project was aimed at raising voices of the voiceless in the communities that we work with, however,this project will be re planned for next year.
"My school was able to get balls from Mountains of Hope, this is becasue when they asked us what we wanted as children, we told them that we dont have balls in our schools, they bought us balls this year"- sam, when children like Sam raise their voices and we listen, we change their life forever.
When we enable children speak out, their needs can easily be spoken out, their ideas can be intergrated in to the organizations planning process, their participation in community activities increases, but when they are left alone, they will not feel part of development in their communities.
