This project will provide a year of nutritious food for Nolson. Nolson is six. After the earthquake his father got sick and died, leaving his mother with no way to care for him or his two brothers. Nolson is very cuddly and smiles a lot. He likes to play soccer, is good in school, and loves to draw. But without nutritious meals to keep him growing, Nolson's future will be bleak.
Following the effects of tropical storm Isaac and Hurricane Sandy in Haiti, the cost of food has almost doubled. This makes it far more difficult for the orphanage to buy the food it needs. Without your help, Nolson may have to go without nutritious meals, leaving him more vulnerable to illness and less healthy.
