This project will provide a year of nutritious food for Germina. Germina didn't have a bright start to her life. Her mother died giving birth to her, and she was brought her to the Hands Together to Defend the Children Orphanage when she was just a few days old. She was sick and premature, so we weren't sure if she would survive. But Germina was a fighter, and now she's approaching her second birthday. But without nutritious meals to keep her growing, Germina's future will be bleak.
As an orphan, Germina is among the most vulnerable of Haitian children. There isn't a nationwide child protection service operating in Haiti to provide for her basic needs. This means that, without your help, Germina may have to go without nutritious meals, leaving her more vulnerable to illness and less healthy.
