The holidays are over and children have headed back to school from the winter break. For many, the second half of the school year will be more enjoyable because they possess the materials needed to fully participate in the classroom.
Thanks to your donations, we were able to exceed our goal of providing 181 supply filled backpacks to children in need by 7! Because of your generosity, 188 Bay Area children woke up to the backpacks and supplies they wanted and needed the most.
We were able to distribute these wishes via our Holiday Warehouse to the agencies who work with the children and their families. Jacob, Director at InnVision Shelter Networks in San Mateo explains, “The look on the kids’ faces is priceless when they get the gifts. I love that the kids know they are being thought of and cared about in the community.”
