Jimmy and Roxana have been attending the Integral Heart Critical/Thinking for Careers education program for two years. They currently not have sponsors and now it's time they begin to study for their careers (as an electrician and a teacher). Their financial situation is precarious since the family income is about $100USD per month. Their monthly school expenses, tuition fees, uniforms, and materials are sometimes higher than the family income. But, you can help them to become professionals.
Jimmy and Roxana, like many other kids of their age, live in a mountain-side slum in which violence and illiteracy are commonplace. Nonetheless their families would love for them to have a better chance of making a living other than how they do by picking coffee and working at building laborers. They understand that if they don't get the chance to study, their future will look like the present and their quality of life will be one harsh struggle. These kids have incredible potential.
By investing in Jimmy, to become an electrician and Roxana's education to become a teacher, they will be able to attend to school and grow as fully empowered human beings. Their level of dignity, self-esteem and self-respect will rise. They will be able to have the human right of education and they will use it for good. With your help they will have the chance of finishing their studies and moving out of the sad place where they now live.
Jimmy and Roxana's studies will allow them to manifest their dream of a brighter future for themselves, better living conditions for their families, and to help their country by bringing awareness to the awful conditions in which many of its people live and eventually to bring change to those situations. They have high expectations and dreams and with this project those dreams can become a reality.
