Summary

Currently, school children at Children Hope Community School have to walk for more than 1 mile to use the closest public toilet due to the lack of a toilet. Smile Liberia wants to build a toilet that will be conveniently used by the children and help maintain their hygiene safety.

Challenge

Currently there is an absence of a toilet for school children in West Point. Children have to walk up to a mile to use the nearest public toilet. Also, public toilets shared by other exposes the children to hygiene related diseases.

Solution

This project is intended to raise funds to build a public toilet for school children in West Point, Monrovia. Building a toilet will help them avoid walking long distance to use the nearest public toilet as well as protect them from hygiene related harm.

Long-Term Impact

Give children access to a clean toilet and protect them from unhygienic situations.
