On behalf of the GECC team, I'd like to sincerely thank you for your financial contribution to this project to build the first ever Emergency Medicine Residency program in Uganda and, more importantly, for your belief in our work.
With your support we were able to raise over $30,000 to start the program in Uganda. By training Ugandan emergency care specialists, countless children, women, and men will be able to get the care they need to prevent unnecessary deaths from easily treatable conditions such as malaria, pneumonia, diarrhea, and trauma.
Please follow our progress on our blog. You can read our most recent post about our Annual Meeting. As the physician training program gets under way, we will post regular program updates there. You can also like us Facebook and follow us on Twitter.
Thank you for supporting this important work. Together, we are building a healthier, more equitable world.
With sincere gratitude,
Tom Neill
Operations Director
