Summary

On the 15th Anniversary of the escape of our Founder & Executive Director, Paula Lucas from domestic violence and child abuse by her ex-husband in Dubai, we are raising $10,000 to help rescue battered American mothers and children overseas this summer. At least 100 families will be assisted from May - August with these desperately needed funds to help rescue American victims from abuse overseas.

What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

American mothers face tremendous obstacles escaping abuse overseas and getting their children home to safety. Geographical isolation, inability to speak the foreign language of the country, lack of access to travel documents or money are only a few of the problems these victims face. With this project, a minimum of one hundred battered American mothers will receive life-saving services from the organization from May - August, rescuing them and their children from life-threatening abuse overseas.
