This project will provide a year of nutritious food for Novelle. Novelle is four and after her mom died she was left in the care of a young aunt. Novelle's aunt couldn't afford to care for her and so she brought her to the HTDC orphanage. Novelle was very sad for a long time but now she's begun to smile again. But without nutritious meals to keep her growing, Novelle's future will be bleak.
As an orphan, Novelle is among the most vulnerable of Haitian children. There isn't an effective nationwide child protection service operating in Haiti to provide for her basic needs. This means that, without your help, Novelle may have to go without nutritious meals, leaving her more vulnerable to illness and less healthy.
