A Year of Meals for Nicholson!

A microproject by International Disaster Volunteers (IDV)
A Year of Meals for Nicholson!

Summary

This project will provide a year of school for Nicholson. Nicholson is 12 years old. His father fell ill and died shortly after the earthquake, and his mother was left without any way of caring for Nicholson and his two brothers, so she brought him to the orphanage. He's a love, mature boy who takes great care of his two younger brothers. He deserves the chance to grow up health and happy - food is the key to keeping him thriving!

Challenge

Following the effects of tropical storm Isaac and Hurricane Sandy in Haiti, the cost of food has almost doubled. This makes it far more difficult for the orphanage to buy the food it needs. Without your help, Nicholson may have to go without nutritious meals, leaving him more vulnerable to illness and less healthy.

Solution

By donating today, you'll help us provide the food Nicholson needs to stay healthy.

Long-Term Impact

A healthy, balanced diet prevents illness and promotes healthy growth. By providing the nutritious food Nicholson needs, you're preventing illness and helping him grow up strong!
