Summary

This project will provide a year of nutritious food for Medjina. At just three years old Medjina has already lost her home and been abandoned after her grandparents were unable to care for her. Now she lives at the Hands Together to Defend the Children Orphanage in Haiti. She's shy at times, but funny at others - like when this photo was taken! Nutritious food is key to keeping her strong and healthy.

What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

Following the effects of tropical storm Isaac and Hurricane Sandy in Haiti, the cost of food has almost doubled. This makes it far more difficult for the orphanage to buy the food it needs. Without your help, Medjina may have to go without nutritious meals, leaving her more vulnerable to illness and less healthy.

How will this project solve this problem?

By donating today, you'll help us provide the food Medjina needs to stay healthy.

Potential Long Term Impact

A healthy, balanced diet prevents illness and promotes healthy growth. By providing the nutritious food Medjina needs, you're preventing illness and helping her grow up strong!
