$378 for a year of Meals for Manoucheka

A microproject by International Disaster Volunteers (IDV)
$378 for a year of Meals for Manoucheka

Summary

This project will provide a year of nutritious meals for Manoucheka. Manoucheka arrived at the orphanage in 2010 after her father died. She is a lovely, independent girl who takes very good care of her little brother Nefky. The good quality food that your donation will provide underpins Manoucheka's healthy development.

Challenge

Following the effects of tropical storm Isaac and Hurricane Sandy in Haiti, the cost of food has almost doubled. This makes it far more difficult for the orphanage to buy the food it needs. Without your help, Manoucheka may have to go without nutritious meals, leaving her more vulnerable to illness and less healthy.

Solution

By donating today, you'll help us provide the food Manoucheka needs to stay healthy.

Long-Term Impact

A healthy, balanced diet prevents illness and promotes healthy growth. By providing the nutritious food Manoucheka needs, you're preventing illness and helping her grow up strong!
