A Year of Kindergarten for Bodlyson and Kenson

Summary

This project will provide the funding we need to ensure that two children who were abandoned by their parents can start on the road out of poverty by getting a great start in school! Challenge

School in Haiti is not free, and if a family cannot pay, their children simply do not attend. Lack of education locks these children in a cycle of poverty. Ensuring access to school not only improves children's lives, but strengthens Haitian communities in the long-term.

Solution

Bodlyson and Kenson were abandoned by their parents because they were too poor to provide for their own children. Both boys' futures were threatened by poverty from day one. With the education you'll help us provide, we can ensure they'll escape the poverty which affected their parents.

Long-Term Impact

Access to education will give Bodlyson and Kenson the skills they needs to find a stable job and escape poverty when they're older.
