Thanks so much for supporting Romeo

Her sign means "Thank You" in Tagalog!

Thanks so much for supporting rescue team leaders like Romeo. Because of your generosity, we’ll be able to provide a boat to a community-based flood rescue team.

That boat will be on-hand when the next flood comes and will allow Romeo and his team to rescue anyone trapped by quickly rising flood water. Floods will never be easy for Romeo, but your generosity means that Romeo and his team will be able to save lives and protect their community.

We’ll send you updates about how your gift is changing the lives of Romeo, his team, and his community right here on GlobalGiving. Should you ever have any questions about how we’re using your donation, please don’t hesitate to email Emma@IDVolunteers.org. We’d love to hear from you!

One last time, thanks so much for ensuring that Romeo and his team will be able to help themselves and their community!

About Project Reports

Project Reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.

If you donate to this project or have donated to this project, you will get an e-mail when this project posts a report. You can also subscribe for reports via e-mail without donating or by subscribing to this project's RSS feed.

Microproject Disclaimer

Every microproject is intended to use the donations it receives in accordance with its stated description; however, it is important to provide project leaders with the flexibility to maximize the potential benefit from the donations they receive. This means that your donation may be used as a part of the main project that supports this microproject, specifically Build Rescue Boats in Flood Prone Communities. In this event, the project leader is required to post an update to the microproject detailing the results and reasons behind this change.

If you or any other donor is unhappy with the way their funds have been used, he or she can reallocate their donation using the GlobalGiving guarantee.
