Your donation matters! Every donation supports the great work these project leaders are doing. And your donation has the potential to have an even greater impact by helping these projects get one step closer to 75 donors and $3,000!

What is the challenge? »

The challenge is to raise $3,000 from 75 unique donors within a three week period, November 1 - November 21, 2008. 75 unique donors means that donations must come from at least 75 different people.

The two organizations that raise the most money will receive additional monetary rewards: $4,000 for the first place winner and $1,000 for the second place winner.

Who are the participants? »

Project Challenge participants are project leaders from around the world who have expressed interest in posting their projects on GlobalGiving's site. All project leaders must complete a rigorous Due Diligence process to qualify for the Project Challenge.

What is GlobalGiving? »

GlobalGiving is a global marketplace for philanthropy that helps donors support causes they are passionate about. Using its public website, GlobalGiving connects donors to more than 500 community based projects worldwide. The site hosts projects which range in topic from education and the environment to healthcare and human rights in more than 69 countries.

Over the past 5 years, more than 600 organizations have raised over $13 million using GlobalGiving's website.
