WHAT IS BONUS DAY?

From 00:00:01 to 23:59:59 EST on December 4, 2012 the GlobalGiving Bonus Day offers a 15% match for all unique, online donations made on www.globalgiving.org to project participating in the December Global Open Challenge.

All online donations up to $1,000 per (unique) individual donor per project made on www.globalgiving.org will be matched at 15% until the total matching grant of $3,000 is used up.

Any donations made on co-branded sites with GlobalGiving corporate partners will not be eligible for matching funding.

The matching funds will not count towards to the $5,000 threshold for the Global Open Challenge. Please review for more information and good luck mobilizing supporters!

WHO ARE THE PARTICIPANTS?

The bonus day is open only to participants of the December 2012 Global Open Challenge.

Project Challenge participants are organizations registered as charitable and non-profit organizations in the US (501(c)3 organizations) or internationally, working in local communities, who have expressed interest in posting their projects on GlobalGiving's site. All Project Leaders must complete a rigorous due diligence process to qualify for the Project Challenge.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• On December 4, 2012 from 00:00:01 hrs to 23:59 hrs, $3,000 of matching funds will be released. Any online, unique donation (up to $1,000 per individual donor per project) to a project participating in the Winter 2012 Global Open Challenge will be matched at 15% while matching funds remain.
• Once the $3,000 in matching funds has been allocated, no more donations will be matched.
• Donations will be matched based on the order in which they are received.
• The project with the most unique donors at 11:59 pm on Bonus Day will receive an additional $1,000.
• Please note that GlobalGiving maintains the right to make a final decision on all matters concerning the adjudication of unique donors and final results of the Winter Global Open Challenge 2012.
