Want your donation dollars to have the greatest impact possible? Make your contributions to GlobalGiving projects around the globe go further with $100,000 of available matching funds! Online donations of up to $1,000 per individual donor/per project are eligible to be matched at 30% on Wednesday, October 19.
From 00:01:00 to 23:59:59 on October 19, 2011 (Eastern time/GMT-4) the GlobalGiving Bonus Day offers a 30% match for your donations. Additional cash bonuses of $1,000 each will be awarded to the top project that generates the largest amount of money and the top project to solicit the greatest number of unique donations.

Who's Participating?
All projects who were in good standing on GlobalGiving.org as of October 17, 2011 and who are not participating in the Girl Effect Challenge have been included in the October 19, 2011 Bonus Day matching opportunity.

How Can I Participate?
Donate to your favorite GlobalGiving projects and follow the Bonus Day Leaderboard in real time! You can also become a fundraiser and evangelist for your favorite projects by getting the word out and asking others to give to have their donations matched at 30% on Wednesday, October 19.

Terms and Conditions
- The Bonus Day will run on October 19, 2011 between 12:01 am Eastern time/GMT-4 and 11:59 pm Eastern time/GMT-4.
- There is $100,000 available matching funds;
- Matching is applied at 30% up to $1,000 per donor per project on October 19, 2011 between 12:01am and 11:59 pm EDT (GMT-4) until matching funds run out;
- Projects must be approved and live on the GlobalGiving.org website by October 17th to be eligible;
- Projects participating in the Girl Effect Challenge are NOT eligible for Bonus Day
- Only online donations (credit card or PayPal) are eligible for matching. Donations made by check are not eligible;
- All online donations received through the GlobalGiving.org site will be eligible for the 30% matching funds and additional $1,000 prizes. Donations made on www.globalgiving.co.uk or any GlobalGiving corporate sites (including Nike, Global Action Atlas, etc) are NOT eligible for matching.
- We encourage you to get donations in early, because matching funds will likely run out before the end of the day.
Please note that GlobalGiving maintains the right to make a final decision on all matters concerning the adjudication of unique donors and final results of Bonus Day and will adjust results accordingly.
