Two years ago, a powerful earthquake caused widespread damage in Nepal. More than
43,000 GlobalGivers leapt into action to support our 89 nonprofit partners
working to save lives and rebuild communities. Even though considerable progress
has been made over the last two years, substantial challenges remain in Nepal.
GlobalGiving’s approach to disasters is
different from most nonprofits’. Even after two years, when the
Nepal earthquake has been out of the news and many aid organizations have left,
our local partners are still hard at work. They’re
providing healthcare to remote villages,
implementing low-cost sanitation systems,
fighting food insecurity, and more. We’re in this with them for
the long run, and we hope you are too.
Right now, you have the chance to multiply your impact on recovery efforts by
choosing to support a project that inspires you. GlobalGiving is
matching donations at 50% to projects rebuilding in Nepal while funds
last. And if you make a new recurring donation, we’ll match your donation
100%.
Donate to one of these outstanding projects to show your commitment to helping
the people in Nepal rebuild.
