Saving Lives With Emergency Care

Global Emergency Care Collaborative is a non-profit founded by US ER docs that operates in rural Uganda, and I volunteered with them for 6 weeks in Spring 2011. They train local nurses to become Emergency Care Practitioners and give life saving care to patients that would otherwise have no access to emergency medical care. It would be great if you could donate - this program is saving lives and advancing medicine in East Africa.
