Elaine and Kim joins Floating Doctors

A fundraiser by Elaine Costelloe

In April I head to remote islands of the east coast of Panama, Central America, to join Ben La Brot and his charity Floating Doctors.
It is a non profit medical relief team dedicated to reducing the burden of disease in developing communities while leaving some sustainable public health changes. It voyages on an expedition vessel to remote local communities off the coast of Central America, empowering communities along the way. It's an amazing charity doing its best with the resources it has.
