The Winter 2011 Tribute Card Challenge ended on December 31, 2011 at 23:59 EST.
WHAT'S THE CHALLENGE?
GlobalGiving is awarding funds to the projects that are able to get the most donations made in honor or in memory of someone between November 23, 2011 and December 31, 2011. Prizes between $500 and $1,500 will be awarded to the projects with the most number of donations made in honor of someone.
PRIZE STRUCTURE
- $1,500 for the project with most unique donors
- $1,500 for the project with most dollars raised
- $500 for the 2nd to 15th place projects with the most unique donors

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- The Tribute Card Challege runs from November 23, 2011 at 00:01 EST to December 31, 2011 at 23:59 EST (GMT-5).
- Only donations made in honor, in memory, or as a gift to someone will count towards the challenge.
- All tribute card types (paper cards, print-at-home cards, and e-cards) are all eligible to be included in the campaign.
- Prizes:
- $1,500 to the 1st place project with the most tribute card dollars
- $1,500 to the 1st place project with the most unique tribute card donors
- $500 to the 2nd to 15th place projects with the most unique tribute card donors
- In the case of a tie between projects in the Unique Tribute Donors category, the project with the highest dollars in tribute card donations will receive the cash award. In case of a tie in the Donation category, the project with the highest number of unique tribute donors will receive the cash award.
- Projects must have at least 10 unique tribute card donors to be eligible for prizes
- Only donations made on GlobalGiving.org will count towards this campaign. Donations made on www.globalgiving.co.uk or any GlobalGiving corporate sites (including Nike, Global Action Atlas, etc) are NOT eligible.
- Please note that GlobalGiving maintains the right to make a final decision on all matters concerning the adjudication of unique donors and final results of the Tribute Card Challenge 2011.
