Because as I sit down comfortably at my PC, dressed, fed, healthy and employed, it's easy (through a site like this) to count your own blessings and feel able, in some tiny way, to help those who are clearly in much greater need. All it takes is; a choice, a credit card number and a click on 'submit' and I feel wealthier for being a few pounds poorer!
