Lydia Join school

Lydia Nekesa is a 16 year old girl from a single parent family of mother after her father died 10 years ago. Lydia has been facing a school dropout challenge as she could not raise and get any support from the mother who works hard to feed her and other six children. After we identified her and prepared her to join secondary school, she was very happy that she could not control her emortions. she was jumping and singing that at longlast she will learn like other children in the community. We have paid her school fees and bought her school requirements and now she is in school. "am happy that am in school now. i will work hard to come and support other children in the community who face the same challlenges that i face. Thanks alot for Juhudi and all those who support us as girls who are at risk of dropping out of school" said Lydia.

Children incrase in school

After a continueous feeding program in our schools, we have seen an increased number of children attending school of both orphans and valunerable. January is a hard month that most children face the challenge of attending school due to luck of support. this is where juhudi joins hand with the community and schools to see that children get food and access education. Calnile, Judith and Brian are few among the children who are smillig everyday getting meals and fees support in attaining their education. We are both supporting these children in their homes and the schools that we work with."am happy to get uniform and food to continue with my education" said Calnile. " i will always go to school" said Judith. " thanks Juhudi for your cntinued support" said Brian.

After supporting children to access food, majority of them are promising to continually remain in school as they get meals while there. John a 7 year old boy orphan is promising with great hope to continually remain in school. John excitedly dances as he takes his meal of the day before schools get closed. “Am dancing because am sure after my school I will serve the community as a nurse taking care of small children like me. Am very happy that Juhudi continually supports us with food. I will always be in school when it opens". Says John. As our feeding program moves on, we will continually support our children both orphans and valunerable children in schools and homes.
