Mission

Caravan to Class imagines a world, where no matter where a child lives, the fundamental right of education is assured. We are dedicated to reversing the injustice of illiteracy through school projects in Western Africa's remote villages.

Programs

The focus of Caravan to Class' programs is to build a welcoming school building, pay salaries of accredited teachers, and provide books, school supplies and nutrition. We work directly with the Ministry of Education in Timbuktu (Centre d'Animation Pedagogique), the UN World Food program, and the village Chiefs and School-Parent Committees to ensure that learning is taking place. The villages sign a contract with Caravan to Class and our investment in education is prioritized by the village's commitment to fulfill the contract.
