Our vision: Street children realize their potential and discover their worth Our mission: Through its work, Retrak will enable street children in Africa to have a real alternative to life on the street.

Programs

Retrak has projects in Uganda and Ethiopia, and partner projects in Kenya. Retrak's drop-in centers in the capital cities of Kampala and Addis Ababa offer street children a holistic set of services, including medical care, feeding, counseling, sports, accommodation, catch-up education and vocational training. Retrak believes that the best place for a child to develop and grow is with a family, and our ultimate goal is to move children through our programs and into a loving home, either with their own family or with a foster family.
