Working together enables us to keep our individual identities while also acknowledging the broader issues we face as a whole. - HOPE FOR THE FUTURE... We exist so that families and communities at risk, and those who have been sexually abused, exploited or trafficked, can be all that God created them to be.

Programs

MAIN PROGRAM AREAS: - LEARNING COMMUNITY. We work to partner with practitioners, non-profits, student groups and government agencies; and assist stakeholders network with one another to improve capacity, particularly according to international best practice models. We focus on collaboration and community learning in order to build the technical and personal skills of those who work against human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. - ADVOCACY & COMMUNITY AWARENESS. We work to raise awareness, provide resources and deliver training to the public, churches and other organizations about addressing human trafficking, sexual exploitation and demand; and advocate on behalf of victims and survivors of trafficking around the world. We are committed to fighting trafficking before it begins in addition to seeing holistic transformation in the lives of victims and survivors. - GLOBAL SUPPORT. We support international likeminded organizations. Technical support and monetary grants will be made to projects in Cambodia and other strategic partner locations several times per year. SPECIFIC PROJECTS: - U.S. FREEDOM REGISTRY. In an effort to build greater collaboration and networking between U.S. based anti-trafficking organizations, the Freedom Registry in in process of being launched to gather information on all agencies across the nation working against issues of modern slavery, labor exploitation, and other forms of human trafficking. This project is now being duplicated in Canada. - NATIONAL TRAINING & CAPACITY BUILDING (USA). Chab Dai facilitates custom training programs with various anti-trafficking stakeholders in Northern California and across the United States based on internationally recognized curriculum. - SACRAMENTO MARCH AGAINST SLAVERY (USA). Every Fall Chab Dai USA facilitates this event to raise awareness of human trafficking in Northern California and provide small grants to local anti-trafficking organizations. - CAMBODIA LEARNING COMMUNITY (Global Support): Chab Dai Coalition in Cambodia facilitates a learning community of 50 member organizations and over 50 partners all working to end human trafficking and exploitation and/or care for survivors. - FIRST STEP BOYS PROJECT (Global Support): This project aims to aid organizations in Cambodia develop programs to meet the specific needs of boys who have been exploited or abused. - DOORSTEPS (Global Support): The Doorsteps project allows for small organizations in Cambodia to apply for small improvement grants of under $2,000. This project primarily focuses on improving the capacity of small local organizations. - RESEARCH (Global Support): Research is the first step of the response process when dealing with issues as significant and grandiose as trafficking and sexual abuse. Chab Dai USA supports various research projects working to better understand trafficking and exploitation.
