As New Beginnings Cat Rescue continues to rescue cats from local animal shelters, we reach out to you for financial support . The shelters are over populated right now and are asking for help to save the cats that are facing certain death just because they are out of time. Little Princess is one of the many cats who will benefit from your support.

On June 13, 2012 beginning at 12:01am GlobalGiving.org is matching at 40% all online donations up to $1,000.00 per donor per project! There is $75,000.00 available in matching funds. Once the matching funds are used, no more matching funds will be applied. In addition to the 40% match, GlobalGiving is offering a $1,000.00 bonus to the project that receives donations from the most individual donors, or to the project that raises the most funds, on Bonus Day. Basket Full of Kittens

These adorable kittens were scheduled to be put to sleep at a local animal shelter due to over-crowding. In fact, over a 2 week period of time, New Beginnings Cat Rescue saved the lives of 14 cats and kittens. Some of the kittens had minor health issues such as diarrhea and upper respiratory infection, or they were too tiny to eat on their own. They just need time to heal. Your donations enable the volunteers of New Beginnings Cat Rescue to answer the call for help, from our local animal shelters, giving these cats and kittens the chance to live a happy life. Happy Beginnings

Dear Supporters of NBCR,

Each adoption brings joy to everyone involved in the rescue.

Some cats wait a long time to find a family. Take Zaid and Nuri, and Jeepers and Creepers, all recently adopted into loving homes. Each was adopted with his brother, together, just as we hoped they would be.

Then there are Vixen's kittens. These little cuties were born the day after their momma and six other cats were rescued after surviving an accident involving a van in which they were living with a homeless woman. Each kitten and six cats were adopted as soon as they were well enough to be. Vixen will soon be available for adoption. Happy beginnings for all.

There are many more successful adoption stories to share and many more cats to be rescued.
