Mission

Promote the empowerment and development of youth, encouraging them to wake their entrepreneurial, creative and innovative spirit, and to take their physical and intellectual capacities to work in partnership with community based organizations and their leaders.

Programs

The "Mais Escola para Mim" Program To fully address the reasons girls drop out at school as well as bring about the full benefits of continuing their education, this scholarship program will be integrated with measures for accountability and social change. This program will be will provide assistance to girls in two small villages where a great need for the program is identified. The small scale of the program will allow for its implementation in a manner that takes into account the circumstances of each young girl scholarship recipient as well as those of the communities involved, so that the program is accepted by community groups and organizations that can serve as watch dog and accountability groups protecting the girls within the program. Thus the program will assess the barriers to school attendance that girls face according to the conditions at each school. Womens Footbal in Mozambique - The Lurdes Mutola Foundation aims to improve the quality of women's football. By understanding the needs, the right action can be taken when developing projects that promote and improve the conditions of the sport, so as to allow it to become practiced at all levels in our country.
