Every EMW Village Safe Water system starts with total buy-in from the communities served, confirmed by a signature on an agreement describing financial and other responsibilities for building and operating the water system.Once the community is fully informed and engaged, the work begins. Big Smiles All Around
Diseases resulting from lack of clean water is the leading cause of death in children under five. Access to clean water has huge health, social, and economic benefits. This is especially true for girls and women who share the biggest burden of fetching clean water from external sources, preventing them from pursuing education and job opportunities.
