Founded in 2001, Street League Changes Lives Through Football. We deliver an award winning structured sport and employability programme that supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds into employment, education or training. Three out of every four (76%) Street League participants that graduate through our programme secure a job or return to education or training.
Street League deliver an award winning three tier model: "Street Football" is our engagement programme utilising football's power to attract and build the softer skills of young people including: confidence, communication, positive attitude, time-keeping, team-work and problem solving in preparation for our 'Academy'. The Academy is our core 8-week programme delivering employability training and development and qualifications alongside continued football activity within a structured timetable. Finally, we offer one to one 'Progressions' support to individuals during our Academies and for up to 6 months after graduation to help young people sustain positive outcomes and achieve lasting change.
