Mission

PRI promotes the idea that humans, individually and collectively, are stewards, or caretakers, of this Earth, and that as stewards we have the call and responsibility to maintain our home on behalf of others.

Programs

We strive to fulfill our mission by restoring and preserving native ecosystems (in particular native lowland prairie), researching restoration best practices (currently related to prairie restoration), educating students of all ages in environmental stewardship and serving our community through our trails and facilities. Funds raised through this website specifically go to our ecumenical restoration and education programs. We have a few faith related programs, but they are not supported by funds raised through GlobalGiving or We Giving.
