We've been up to a lot of things in 2013. Our Health Complex has been very busy but don't think we have forgotten about the water project! Recently, we have been inspected by the Bangladesh NGO Foundation and given a satifactory report for our intiatives to provide safe drinking water to the residents in the village of Earpur in Senbagh, Noakhali, Bangladesh.
We cannot thank you enough for your faith in us and believing in our mission. I know there are a lot of other ways you could have spent this money, but you believe in our cause, so you chose to invest it in our project. Because of this investment, I want you to feel like part of our team. We're in this together. I want our success to be your success. Together we can all work to provide people with the opportunities to uplift themselves out of poverty.

Hi Everyone,
I hope all of you are slowly winding down and getting to spend some time with your loved ones this holiday season. Before we all tune out for the New Year, I wanted to provide you with some updates of the MAAWS Health Complex.
Since opening in June, we have seen over 600 patients to date. Over 83% of our patients are women and children. At present, we are providing primary care to our patients but with the latest addition of Dr. Dilruba Akther we have seen an increase in female patients requesting her specialty services. MAAWS is one the few facilities in the area to provide a gynecologist.
In October, we opened up a Pathology Department and hosted a free blood grouping session and a free workshop taught by Shomin, a lab technician supervisor from Chittagong Diabetic Hospital, about erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR). Three of our students sat and passed the certification exam.
In such a short time we have been able to accomplish much and this is without a doubt because of your support. We cannot thank you enough for your faith in us and believing in our mission.
