Our work focuses on the interaction of culture and nature, and how biological and cultural diversities are inextricably linked. We promote agricultural, biological and cultural diversity around the world through research, training and social action. We assist indigenous peoples and local communities in gaining vital tools to protect their biocultural resources through community-level education and research. We bring these concerns to a wider public through international courses and publications.
