Programs

The Learning Links Foundation is a not for profit organization working in the field of formal and non formal education. The Trust, established in 2002, has been working across India and the Asia region for improving quality in education, strengthening citizenship amongst youth, harnessing the power of technology for educational and social improvement and supporting sustainable social innovation.The Foundation provides solutions from an idea to the inception of a program design, implementation, management, monitoring & evaluation.The core competency of the Foundation includes developing ICT models for education, working with State Education Departments on ICT policies, Professional Development activities & ICT in Education Deployment Models. It also provides consultancy on equity & access issues & help in the development of ICT integration models for National Curriculum Framing Bodies.The Foundation specializes in creating robust educational initiatives, suited and tailored to partner and beneficiary needs. From educational consulting, project management, training, delivery and outcome evaluation, the teams at LLF provide solutions that help manage a wide range of programs in the education and developmental sector.The Foundation is also one of the largest and most respected education enhancement and capacity development organizations in India. It takes pride in having created the largest Teacher Professional Development network in India and having provided capacity building opportunities to over 900,000 teachers, student-teachers and faculty of higher education institutes since 2003.The Foundation has done extensive work to support students with the skills required to succeed in a workforce. Almost 150,000 students have been given a chance to work on technology driven socially relevant projects that are aimed at not only addressing common community problems but also providing the students with the opportunity to be employed by technology leaders.The Foundation has launched, SABAL, a program for empowering students with the necessary entrepreneurial skills that will result in multifold expansion of job opportunities.The Foundation has initiated a project based Civic Education initiative that provides students with knowledge about democracy, enhances their skills and deepens their understanding on how to work together to make their community a better and more productive place to live in.The project, which is spread over 16 States and has impacted 5000 students so far, encourages civic participation amongst students, teachers, parents and members of the community and motivates students to work in collaboration and identify problems in their community as well as study the local policies related to the problems.
