Mission

To improve the living standards of people living in remote Himalayan communities, by providing immediate support and empowering them. Through integrated programmes in the areas of health, education and livelihoods, PHASE aims to support the most vulnerable (women, children, low castes, the very poor and people with disabilities) to break the cycle of poverty, by assisting communities and local authorities to lay the groundwork for a self-sufficient future.

Programs

PHASE specialises in improving health and education services and livelihood opportunities for disadvantaged populations in very remote and resource poor Himalayan mountain villages in Nepal. Poor health, low educational levels and poverty are all aspects of the same problem, which creates a cycle preventing people from taking control of their own futures. PHASE addresses these aspects simultaneously, through integrated village development programmes which empower individuals and communities.
