A seed that will continue to grow

A seed that will continue to grow
A seed that will continue to grow

English, maths, reading, writing, science... Every one can come and get a scholarship to learn it!

We are so happy to be working with kids that look forward to the future. Being from a marginalized community is not a limitation for our students. They want to learn everything they can with the help of technology and their teachers.

Identifying aspiring scientists was just the beginning, now the youngest look up to the first generation that participated in this program and are starting to learn about science. We now want to share with you this lovely picture of this group of talented observers.

In more than 4 years we've planted a seed in more than 127,011 students and their communities. We now know this is a seed that will continue to grow.

No more excuses! Maria wants to learn more

Maria: mother and student
Maria: mother and student

With your help, single mothers from low income communities can access technology and high quality education. After students, mothers are the second group attending the RIA or Learning and Innovation Network. Here's Marías story:

"My name is Maria Felix Ocampo Noverón. I'm 38 years old.

We started the course three weeks ago with teacher Esmeralda. The truth is I learn something new every day, in each class. My life has changed since I started the course, I am excited and want to learn more. I started coming because a friend told me she was studying computing and she told me where. I didn't know it was a Foundation and I was amazed because my excuse was always that I didn't have any money, but I had never looked for a place like the RIA.

I like the RIA: everyone can access courses to learn new skills, how to find a job, how to do homework or just to update with new technologies. The school is very nice, their facilities are modern and it has a good vibe.

My daughter also comes to a Computer course.
The teacher is excellent, because she's very patient.

I would like to know more about computers and then study English. I hope I can start soon".

Help mothers like María change their lives and teach their children to leave excuses behind and work for a brighter future. Thank you for your donation.
