To ensure a secured, protected and dignified future and life for children and youth, by promoting their rights, education and health
Challenging Heights (CH) delivers a coordinated network of child-centered, evidence-based, community-driven programs. Our activities include rescue, rehabilitation, family reintegration, education, and prevention for underprivileged children and their families.
Through our two cornerstone programs, CH School and Hovde House, a rehabilitation shelter for trafficked children, we aim to creatively and actively empower children to harness their individual talents, ambitions, and educational aspirations.
We also run child labour programs in 40 communities, including program to eliminate worst forms of child labour in 20 cocoa communities.
Community mobilization groups - including the Community Child Protection Committees (CCPCs), children's right clubs, traditional leaders, and other civil society groups in our catchment communities - are all actively involved in the conception, design, implementation, and assessment of our programs through regularly scheduled meetings and feedback sessions. The assessment of each program involves continuous monitoring and evaluation of our participants. Participants provide feedback, which is discussed at stakeholder meetings where participants are also present. These discussions guide future program design or redesign of programs.
