RISE's mission is to help people become self-sufficient by building and sustaining human and financial assets.
Save Up - is a program that provides financial literacy, followed by the establishment of an IDA account (savings for an asset purchase e.g. house, car, computer or education). The Save Up participant receives $2.00 for every dollar they save towards an asset purchase.
Goal Card - is an incentive based program for 38126 zip code which is one of the poorest neighborhoods in Memphis. Students are coached by caring adults each report card period and given points for improvements in grades, school attendance and conduct. The points can be redeemed for items that teir parents can not afford (e.g. school supplies, mp3 players, gift cards, alarm clocks, etc.)
